Our cute little critters are waiting for you to knit them up! Our easy-to-follow pattern has instructions to make a frog, armadillo and moose. Commonly referred to as "amigurumi" (Japanese for knit or crocheted toy), these little guys knit up quickly and felt in minutes.
You'll need:
- 100% wool yarn, worsted weight (not "superwash").
- Size 10 US, 6mm knitting needles.
- Felt: Pink (Armadillo), Black (All).
- Embroidery floss: Pink (Armadillo), Black (All), White (All).
- Scrap non-wool yarn (for securing opening when felting).
- Polyester fiber or other material that packs firmly for stuffing.
- Scissors.
- Plastic pellets, 1oz.
- Tapestry needle for embroidering details.
- Yarn needle.
Size: Approximately 3-1/2" (8.9cm) tall after felting.
Stitches Include: knit; purl; m1; k2tog; p2tog; basic embroidery. |
